Gratuities Guideline:
- Gratuities are not included in the rate and the
staff at Tinga would like you to know that they do not expect individual tips.
- However, guests who would like to show their
appreciation can do so by contributing to a staff gratuity fund, which is distributed
once a month. Gratuities may be offered at the end of your stay and placed in
the envelopes provided at reception.
- This is however entirely at your own discretion.
A guideline for gratuities is available at the lodge.
Incentive and Group
Gratuity Policy:
For all groups, including incentives and, Tinga will add a
compulsory gratuity (which includes ranger/tracker, butler and general staff)
which will be negotiated and agreed to prior to arrival.
Tinga rates include:
- Luxury accommodation in a suite with private
lounge and plunge pool
- Three meals per day
- Teas/coffees
- Soft drinks, local brand beers and spirits &
house wines (FIT’s ONLY)
- Two game drives daily with FGASA qualified
ranger & tracker
- Game drive refreshments & snacks
- Specified inclusive safari activities
Tinga Rates exclude:
- Laundry
- Mini-bar
- Premium brand beers & spirits, cellar wines
& champagnes
- Cigars & cigarettes
- Transfers
- Gratuities
- Telephone
- Curio Shop purchases
- Spa treatments
- Kruger National Park Conservation fee
- Any additional extras will be for the guests

Peak Period
Supplements:
More Hotels reserves the right to implement a peak period
supplement and minimum night stay conditions over high demand periods. The high
demand period is deemed to be: 23 December 2011 – 3 January 2012 and 23
December 2012 – 3 January 2013.

Child Policy:
Tinga Legends Lodge:
- We regret that we are unable to accommodate
children under the age of 6 years.
- Children between the ages of 6 and 15 pay 50% of
the per person adult rate
- Children 16 years and older pay the full adult
rate
Tinga Narina Lodge:
- We regret that we are unable to accommodate
children under the age of 10 years.
- Children between the ages of 10 and 15 pay 50%
of the per person adult rate
- Children 16 years and older pay the full adult
rate
Single Room Policy:
Tinga Legends Lodge:
There are two rooms at Legends Lodge where we can waiver the
single supplement. These rooms are subject to availability. Any additional
single rooms will be charged a 50% single supplement
Tinga Narina Lodge:
There are two rooms at Narina Lodge where we can waiver the
single supplement. These rooms are subject to availability. Any additional
single rooms will be charged a 50% single supplement
Triple Rooms:
Tinga Legends Lodge:
- There are three triple rooms at Legends Lodge
and booking of these rooms are subject to availability.
- The rate for the third person in the triple room
is 50% of the per person sharing rate (when there are three people in the room)
- There are no inter-leading rooms available at
Legends Lodge
Tinga Narina Lodge:
- There are two triple rooms at Narina Lodge and
booking of these rooms are subject to availability.
- There are no inter-leading rooms available at
Narina Lodge
Groups:
Tinga Legends Lodge:
- A group is considered to be a booking for 10 or
more guests
- Discounted rates for booking of the entire lodge
are available from Reservations
Tinga Narina Lodge:
- A group is consider to be a booking for 10 or
more guests
- There is no pilot/guide room available at Narina
Lodge
- Discounted rates for booking of the entire lodge
are available from Reservation
Bona Fide Group
Discount:
- 18 or more full paying guests receive one single
room
- Accommodation for bona fide group discount rooms
may be in Pilot/Guide or alternative accommodation.
- Bona Fide Group Discount does not apply to any
special or discounted rates.
Deposits:
FIT’s
- 50% deposit is due on confirmation of booking to
secure the reservation, of which 10% is non-refundable.
- Full prepayment must be received no later than
30 days prior to arrival
Groups (10 or more
guests)
- 10% non-refundable deposit of the total value of
the reservation must be received within 7 days of confirmation of the reservation.
- 120 days prior to arrival: Further 40 % deposit
to be paid.
- 45 days prior to arrival: Balance of 50 % and a
rooming list must be received.
Cancellation Fees:
FIT's
- 31 – 60 days prior to arrival: 25 % cancellation
fee on the value of the booking
- 0 – 30 days prior to arrival: 100 % cancellation
fee on the value of the booking
Groups (10 or more
pax)
- 60 days or more prior to arrival: 10 %
cancellation fee on the value of the booking
- 46 – 60 days prior to arrival: 50 % cancellation
fee on the value of the booking
- 0 – 45 days prior to arrival: 100 % cancellation
fee on the value of the booking
