More About The Jump
Briefing: After you sign up for the skydive, you meet your Tandem Master and there is a short briefing, then it is time to kit up. The harness you will be wearing is fully adjustable with 4 attachment points and that is it really. All you have to do from that point on is to enjoy the 20-minute flight to 10,000 feet during which the views of Plettenberg Bay and Robberg Peninsula are awesome.
The jump Itself: Before you reach 10,000 feet your Tandem Master will attach you to his harness via the 4 attachment points and once at altitude its time to take the plunge. Once you take that step out of the airplane you are in for the time of your life as you enter a 35 second free fall at 200 kmph. After the 35-40 second mark the parachute opens and you can enjoy taking the reins for the remaining 3-4 minutes of airtime that you have before you touch down on earth again. No parachuting experience is necessary, as your Tandem Master is there to guide you.
The Flight: You can enjoy spectacular views while you are drifting back to earth by parachute; take the opportunity to take some exquisite photographs. You can have the entire adventure captured on DVD for you to take home and treasure upon your request. All in all, you get to take home an unforgettable experience, certification to prove it, an optional extra DVD is you would like and the memory that will last forever.
