Before you pass up kayaking adventures as being far too strenuous for a holiday experience, read on about the amazing opportunity you have to explore the serenity and beauty of the Langebaan Lagoon. This Langebaan kayaking adventure on the West Coast of South Africa offers you the unique opportunity to tap into an unspoilt lagoon environment. You are able to experience an environment where sea meets land in calm and peaceful way and all the lagoon marine life that it brings with it.

As the Langebaan Kayaking adventure is a self-exploration one, you dictate the pace and your own movements, allowing you to come and go as you please. You can take in the beauty and serenity at your own pace, linger at places of specific interest to you, catch your breath or take photographs. Schaapen Island in Langebaan Lagoon is home to white rabbits, visible from your kayak on the lagoon waters. Perhaps you will be lucky to sight a seal or two playing in the water or even a whale surfacing in peak whale season from August to October.
