What a fantastic visit and experience to Addo Elephant Back Safari Lodge. It was quite a tough road to get there, but once we were there we were met with the warmest hospitality and really great accommodation. The Tented Rooms had a jacuzzi on the balcony, indoor fireplace and even an electric blanket on the bed which we used gratefully!

What was really great was to get up close and personal with the elephants, we rode them bareback and even fed them which was an awesome experience, so different to seeing them at a distance in the bush. We stayed 2 nights, which was a perfect length to enjoy the activities the elepahnt ride, the game drive and just to relax and enjoy the view.
