Peak Period Supplements:

More Hotels reserves the right to implement a peak period supplement and minimum night stay conditions over high demand periods. The high demand period is deemed to be: 23 December 2011 – 3 January 2012 and 23 December 2012 – 3 January 2013.

Child Policy:

Cape Cadogan Hotel:

• We regret that we are unable to accommodate children under the age of 12 years in the hotel.
• Children older than 12 will be accommodated in a room on their own and will be subject to the normal adult rates.
• At Cape Cadogan, there are no rooms that can accommodate 3 people.

More Quarters Apartments:

• Children of all ages are welcome in the apartments
• Children from 0-5 years will be accommodated free of charge. A cot or mattress is available at no additional charge.
• Children 6 – 15 years will pay 50% of the adult per person rate
• Children 16 years and older will pay the adult rate
• There are two triple one bedroom apartments at More Quarters and booking of these rooms are subject to availability.
• The rate for the third person in the triple room is 50% of the per person sharing rate (when there are three people in the room).

Redcliffe House:

• Children of all ages are welcome in the house (maximum 8 adults/children in total).
• Should the booking include children 8 years or younger, a breakage deposit of ZAR 2500.00 will be required.

There are two rooms at Cape Cadogan where we can waiver the single supplement. These rooms are subject to availability. Any additional single rooms will be charged the single rate

More Quarters:

There are two luxury one bedroom apartments where we can waiver the single supplement. These apartments are subject to availability. Any additional single rooms will be charge the single rate

Day Usage Rooms:

• The Petit Standard rooms are available to guests as day usage rooms at a discounted rate of 50%.
• These rooms are subject to availability.

Groups:

Cape Cadogan & More Quarters:

• A group is considered to be a booking for 10 or more guests
• Discounted rates for booking of the entire hotel are available from Reservations

Bona Fide Group Discounts:

• 14 or more full paying guests receive one single room
• Bona Fide Group Discount does not apply to any special or discounted rates.

Deposits:

FIT's

• 50% deposit is due on confirmation of booking to secure the reservation, of which 10% is non-refundable.
• Full prepayment must be received no later than 30 days prior to arrival.

Groups (10 or more guests & Redcliffe House)

• 10 % non-refundable deposit of the total value of the reservation must be received within 7 days of confirmation of reservation.
• 120 days prior to arrival: Further 40 % deposit to be paid.
• 45 days prior to arrival: Balance of 50 % and a rooming list must be received.

Rates for Driver/Pilot/Guide in Guide Accommodation:

Pilot/Guide Room Rate 50% of the per person rate per night, Subject to availability of a Petit Standard Room at Cape Cadogan

Cancellation Fees:

FIT's

• 8 – 30 days prior to arrival: 25 % cancellation fee on value of the booking
• 0 – 7 days prior to arrival: 100 % cancellation fee on value of the booking

Groups (10 or more guests & Redcliffe House)

• 60 days or more prior to arrival: 10 % cancellation fee on the value of the booking
• 31 – 60 days prior to arrival: 50 % cancellation fee on the value of the booking
• 0 – 30 days prior to arrival: 100 % cancellation fee on the value of the booking
