Sample Itinerary:

The below itinerary is meant to offer clients a guideline for our fishing adventure holidays at Cahorra Bassa in Mozambique.

Day 1:

Meet and greet at Blantyre International Airport in Malawi. We will head straight for the Cahorra Bassa from the airport. The distance travelled is approximately 400km. Depending on the border and Tete bridge crossing; it should take around 6 hours to get there. We should arrive in Moringa Bay in the early evening and start preparing for the fishing that awaits us in the next few days.

Day 2 - 6:

Spend 5 days carefree cays fishing on the Cahorra Bassa, which is quite possibly the best tiger fishing destination in Africa. We will get an early start spend most of the days on the water trying to land the perfect catch. Enjoy breakfast and a packed lunch onboard as well beer and water to cool you off in the heat of the African sun. You have the option to return to camp for lunch and some shade but many of our die hard fishermen think that resting amidst such spectacular fishing opportunities is over rated. Enjoy camp fires by night and story telling about your day’s fishing adventures.

Day 7:

Get an early start to the day today, returning to Blantyre, shich is where you will spend the last night of your Fishing holiday with Malawian Style

Day 8:

On the final day of your fishing adventure holiday it is time to say goodbye and depart for home.

Facilities:

We will fish off smaller boats by day and regale each other with stories of ‘the one that got away’ and our day’s efforts while enjoying a drink around a camp fire by night.
