You will arrive just before sunrise to a remote location surrounded by farmlands in the heart of the Magaliesburg, approx one hour from Johannesburg. Enjoy a cup of coffee while you watch the Balloons being prepared.
The unique and special difference here is that with Bill Harrop’s you are not standing in an open field, but enjoying the scene from the stylish comfort of the patios of Harrop’s beautifully appointed, traditionally exquisite Clubhouse Pavilion.
As the sun rises, burning off the cloud cover, you will make your way to the basket and climb aboard for a ride that will change your life forever. Your Pilot lights the burners after an entertaining briefing, and you rise majestically into the air and float silently wherever the wind blows you.
The thrill and the awe of this experience is indescribable. If there is one adventure that everyone needs to experience, it is a ride in a hot air balloon, and Bill Harrop’s Original (accept no imitations) Balloon Safari is the way to do it!
After 1 hour of floating across the fields, and an accelerated ascent to break above the clouds and view a scene from heaven, your experienced pilot safely lands in an open field, where you will be met by a professional ground support crew and a glass of champagne! The exceptional peace and tranquility that you will experience of this unique and surreal view of the world will remain as a truly cherished memory forever.
Once back in the comfort of Harrop’s Clubhouse a really top class fully cooked breakfast is served in the comfort of their fully licensed restaurant on the patios overlooking the launch field and the Magaliesberg mountains.
