Intro

This is such an Awesome Adventure that we have Abseiled of Table mountain twice. We filmed it in 2009 (watch our video!) and it was so cool we did it again in May 2010!

You simply can’t come to Cape Town, and Go up Table Mountain without taking 40 minutes out to get your Adrenalin pumping!

we had a great Instructor who gave us a very clear, professional, but also fun safety briefing. Even though I was nervous at stepping over the side, once I got into it, I rappelled quite well down the side. having never done it before it was easier than I thought... just stepping over the edge is the worst bit!

As our Instructor said, "There is a surprise for you half way down" and he wasn’t joking! I won't spoil the surprise but put it this way... i now know what its like to leap out into space!

You have simply got to try this, and where else than to be able to say "I Jumped off Table Mountain... backwards! "
