Abseiling in Tistsikamma on the picturesque Garden Route is an amazing experience. With stunning surroundings, Tsitsikamma, Garden Route is one of the most beautiful places to try abseiling.

People have been abseiling down mountains for centuries untold; it was simply something that had to be done to get to a specific destination if there was no other way. As a sport though, it has huge appeal to modern man and woman as it gets you back to nature in the great outdoors and it gives you a supreme body workout.

South Africa is blessed with some of the most spectacular abseiling spots that range from the easier ones for beginners to those that are only suitable for the advanced abseil enthusiast. The Tsitsikamma Falls Adventure Park, along the Garden Route, offers abseiling opportunities where you can abseil 30 metres down between cliffs and land on a raft waiting in the river at the bottom for you. The scenery is so lush in this area, you will simply forget about the outside world and want to stay here forever amongst the multitude of ferns, flowers and trees.
