Wildlife Camp lies on the banks of the River Luangwa, Zambia and offers guests an authentic and affordable African experience from the comfort of their private verandas or from the seats of an open-top safari vehicle. All this comes with world-class hospitality.
The Camp’s ever-changing panoramic landscapes are decorated with animals from the tiny to the huge. Elephants, hippos, giraffe, antelope and a host of birds are regular visitors and look out for the large cats stalking past the restaurant at night. Go on a walking or driving safari with one of our expert local guides and you’ll soon find yourself immerged into the African bush.
We do open-date gift vouchers that you can hand to the recipients as gifts on a special day. This allows the recipient the flexibility to make the final booking on a date that suits his/her personal schedule. This also turns the gift into a “double whammy” gift as the recipient receives the voucher on the special day and then has the anticipation of going on the adventure on a suitable date.
Our open date vouchers are valid for a period of 6 months from date of issue; this is a precaution to guard against price increases only, the value of the voucher is never lost. Should the participant not use the voucher within that time period, the value is still there, and if there has been no price increases, the recipient uses the voucher as is. If after the six months grace period there has been a price increase, the recipient will be liable to pay in the price difference only.
After a light early-morning breakfast in the Wildlife Camp Restaurant we head out over the Luangwa Bridge to watch the bush and its inhabitants get ready for the day ahead. There is nothing like a cup of coffee in the wild. Lunch after the safari is a delight and the swimming pool by the camp-site bar makes for a great siesta spot. As the sun sets we go off again into the National Park to enjoy a cold drink and watch the hippos leave the water. After this, the thrill of a night-safari will keep you on the edge of your seat. A three-course candle light dinner will put you in the right mood for a night’s rest to charge you and your camera’s batteries for the next exciting day.

Wildlife Camp operates under the auspices of the Wildlife and Environmental Conservation Society of Zambia and we proudly donate a large percentage of your accommodation fee to this good cause. More than $50 000 per year goes towards the WECSZ.
