What we offer:
- We have 3 vessels that are custom designed and operated by skippers and crews that are highly qualified and experienced.
- We have an expert narrator that goes out with each whale watching trip to give passengers a heightened experience.
Best time for the boat trip
Whale watching is seasonal to fit in with the whale migration pattern between June/July and October/November each year. Our other boat trips and boat charters are available all year round.
Take Note:
- It is essential to book in advance.
- We have a child-friendly policy.
- We can take maximum of 50 persons per trip and we have a minimum before we launch.
- Our whale watching boat trips are between 09:00 and 17:00
- The weather plays a crucial role in all boat trips and in the event of being unable to go out due to bad weather, there is no charge.
- Cancellations done within 24 hours of departure will be charged at the full price.
What you should bring with you:
- Sun protection: sunglasses, sun hat or cap and sunscreen SPF 30+
- Warm jacket or windbreaker
- Camera

We operate all year round and we try to give passengers the widest possible marine excursion options.
Seal Island Cruise - maximum of 12 persons
16 km off Simon’s Town lays Seal Island, the home of 75,000 Cape Fur Seals and about 25 different bird species. This is the feeding ground of the Great White Shark.
Departs Daily: 11h30, 14h30 (2 hours)
Whale Watching - maximum of 12 persons
Our seasonal whale watching boat tours from July to November every year and is a highlight on the calendar each year.
Departs Daily: 09h00, 12h00 & 14h30 (2 hours)
Adrenaline Rush - maximum of 11 persons
This is a tourist season boat excursion; a 30-minute high speed boat trip across False Bay and pre-booking is essential for charters as well as scheduled trips.
Cape Point Cruise - maximum of 12 persons
This is an exploration cruise where we investigate the ocean caves and view Cape Point. There is a large variety of marine life and pelagic birds to see and schools of dolphins often make their appearance.
Departs Daily: 11h30, 14h30 (2 hours)
Naval/Dockyard Tour - maximum of 50 persons
We take the boat, the Spirit of Nuisance out on daily trips for this specific tour and it is a leisurely trip around Simon’s Bay.
Departs Daily 10h30 - 15h30 (45 min)
