Training
Anyone that wants to do skydiving must start out with static line jumps. Before you can jump you must undergo training and tuition takes place on Saturday from 08:30 and you need at least 5 to 8 hours training.
We offer static line jump courses every second weekend. Once you have successfully completed the basic training you will be ready for your first static line skydiving jump.
The Jump
Once you are ready and kitted out we take off in the aircraft and make our way up to 3,000 ft for that most important first jump. The views from the aircraft are simply stunning as Cape Town lies beneath you and you have views of the city, the mountain and the harbor.
Once we are at altitude the jumpers fall away from the aircraft. With all static line jumps the main canopy is deployed by a static line that is attached to the aircraft. This means there is no chance that if a jumper panics, he or she can forget to open the parachute, it is done via the static line. Once the jumper starts going down the canopy must be controlled and checked down to the ground until the actual landing.
