Aquila Private Game Reserve is a 4-star facility that offers a great many different services, facilities and experiences to visitors. It is a game reserve with a difference in that they offer visitors an educational wildlife experience as their goal from the start has been to re-introduce wildlife into the Cape region, conservation and educating people.
Their conservation and environmental balancing projects have been so successful that they are today able to offer visitors a Big 5 safari experience and in this case also a quad biking safari adventure.
Quad bikes are the greatest fun ever for people of all ages and as an outdoors activity quad biking is incredibly popular in South Africa. �Riding quad bikes give you the opportunity to be more active than if you go sightseeing or game watching in a vehicle driven by a driver. You can interact with nature in a way that other vehicles do not allow you to do.
So if you want to combine the adventure of driving quad bikes over all types of terrain with the having a Big 5 game viewing trip you can have it both at Aquila Private Game Reserve. You can combine your quad biking adventure with a stay at the Game Reserve or you can come for a quad bike safari as a day visitor to the Game Reserve.
Please note that for guests that do not wish to do a self-drive trip to Aquila Game Reserve, there is the option of including transportation from and back to hotels in Cape Town.

The Deal
- We offer you a 2-hour quad biking Big 5 safari to spot game in the Aquila Private Game Reserve.
- Maximum of 10 people per safari
- 1 person per quad bike
- Guided by two rangers
- Minimum age is 16 years
- Welcome drink, breakfast and lunch.

Best time
This quad biking safari adventure is available all year round, depending on the weather and as this region has dry winters, rain will cause minimum of interference.
What you need to bring:
- Denims, T-shirt and trainers (sneakers)
- Windbreaker or other type of warm jacket.
- Sun protection: sunscreen SPF 30+, sun glasses
- Camera
- When going on any type of quad biking adventure it is always advisable to bring a complete spare set of clothes as you may need it afterwards.
