Paragliding is a fantastic way to get to see Africa. Forget about driving through rugged bush and start thinking about gliding over open fields or rooftops. Paragliding is the only way to truly enjoy flying with the wind whistling through your hair, the sun warming your skin and every one of your senses being actively involved in the flight. The airplane might be there for practical flying, but paragliding is there for pure enjoyment of flying, so go ahead and give it a try with us in De Aar in the Northern Cape.
In De Aar we cater to everyone who wants to get up there and soar among the clouds from experienced and licensed paragliding pilots to students and even those who have never flown before. Our tandem flights are hugely popular because you don�t have to undergo training, it is the no stress, no fuss way to get you into the air and enjoying the flight before you know it.
You will be signed up for a tandem flight, briefed on safety, harnessed up, strapped to your pilot and off you go. You just need to help with the take off and your pilot does the rest from then on out, all you have to do is sit back and enjoy the views. Our average flight duration is 10-20 minutes and you will receive a certificate and photograph afterwards.

For safety reasons, there is a weight restriction of 100kg on the tandem paragliding flights.
