Itinerary - Cape Town to Victoria Falls Overland Tour
Day 1: Cape Town
Explore Cape Town at your leisure.
Day 2: Cape Town to Lamberts Bay
Depart Cape Town for Lamberts Bay.
Day 3: Lamberts Bay to Fish River Canyon, Namibia
Depart from Lamberts Bay, crossing the border into Namibia, travel to Fish River Canyon via Richtersveld.
Day 4: Fish River Canyon and Aus to Namib Naukluft
Explore Fish River Canyon at your leisure before departing for Aus.
Day 5 & 6: Namib Naukluft National Park to Swakopmund
Depart from Aus and head for the world�s older desert in the Namib Naukluft National Park. The next morning it is off to Dune 45 and then on to Sossusvlei where you can explore and participate in activities at your leisure.
Day 7 & 8: Swakopmund to Etosha
Swakopmund offers visitors a chance to catch up on sundries and to explore the adventure town at their leisure. The amenities available include restaurants, shops, beaches and so much more to enjoy.
Day 9 & 10: Etosha National Park
Depart from Swakopmund and travel through Namibia�s famous moonscape of granite en route to Etosha National Park, where the camps offer excellent game viewing.
Day 11: Etosha to Waterberg Plateau National Park
Depart from Etosha and travel to the Waterberg Plateau National Park, where you are free to explore the natural beauty at your leisure.
Day 12: Waterberg Plateau to Windhoek
Depart from Waterberg Plateau, travelling to Windhoek. Here the rest of the day can be spent exploring the city at your leisure.
Day 13: Windhoek to Gobabis
Those not ending their trip in Windhoek, travel to Gobabis.
Day 14: Gobabis to Maun, Botswana
An early start sees you heading towards Maun, Botswana. Before leaving you will be briefed about what to pack for the journey as you will be travelling in Mokoros. The afternoon holds a flight over the delta in store
Day 15 & 16: Okavango Delta
A tented camp awaits after a transfer to the Delta region where you can enjoy the Mokoro safari and a game walk. However, the Mokoro safaris are subject to season and water level.
Day 17: Maun to Nata
After breakfast its back to Maun and transfer to Nata. The night will be spent in a Lodge 10km from Nata
Day 18: Nata to Chobe National Park
From Nata it�s on to Kasane where the lodge is situated on the Chobe River banks. To make the most of your time you will join a game drive in the Chobe National Park and a Chobe River cruise.
Day 19: Chobe National Park to Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe
Taking the final leg from Chobe to Victoria Falls where you will be able to explore and experience the area in your own time. There are all sorts of optional activities on offer in the Victoria Falls area and the Lodge is close to all amenities.
Day 20: Victoria Falls
The tour ends at Victoria Falls after breakfast.
