Arrival: Cape Town
Welcome. Our tour guide will meet you at the airport and taxi you directly to the Hotel where you can freshen-up and perhaps have a light bite to eat. In the afternoon we take delivery of the rental bikes and have a tour briefing and finalise formalities.

Day 2:
Let's get on with it! We'll be leaving Cape Town after breakfast and heading off on our Peninsula Tour as well as traveling to Cape Point. We stay on the coastal road, all the way around False Bay. We keep the sea on our right and majestic mounains on our left as we head through the Whale watching capital of South Africa. Tonight we stay at the southernmost point of Africa! Lunch will be en-route.

Day 3:
We leave after breakfast and travel through the Overberg, over a beautiful mountain pass and into the Little Karoo. We now stay on Route 62 and have a rest stop at Ronnie's Sex Shop. The scenery is unique to this area. We ride over the Huisriver Pass to South Africa's ostrich farming capital - Oudtshoorn. We recommend taking in a visit to an ostrich farm and if you're less than 80 kg's, interested parties could even trade in their motorcycles and try their hand at riding a feathered friend. A visit to the world famous Cango Caves can also be arranged. We spend tonight in the Ostrich capital in the Karoo.

Day 4:
Today we head for the beautiful Garden Route. We ride the stunning Outeniqua Pass and then savour the spectacular scenery along the coastal road. We lunch in Knysna at a very dramatically positioned restaurant.
We continue along the Garden Route which is aptly named with its indigenous forests. We travel on a couple more interesting and scenic roads until we find our overnight stop in the quaint village of Stormsriver.

Day 5:
After a hearty breakfast we start on the next leg of our journey. We stay on the coastal road and continue via Port Elizabeth heading through the Eastern Cape towards East London and then stay at a true gem right on the beach.

Day 6:
One of the trips longest legs lies ahead of us today. We'll need to make an early start to reach the Wild Coast in the afternoon. We will be traveling through the Transkei, via its capital city of Umtata en-route to Port St John's. Qunu, Nelson Mandela's place of birth is a mere 20 kms South East of Umtata. We'll be spending the night at our resort at the Umngazi River Mouth; a stones throw from Port St John's and a true home from home.

Day 7:
After a quick visit to Port St John's, we'll head-on back into the mountains, traveling on tarred roads through places like Lusikisiki. Following the R61, we'll reach Port Edward, which also lies on South Africa's East Coast which is flanked by the much warmer Indian Ocean. Here we'll join the N2, traveling along the coast to Durban, our destination for the evening. Famed for its tropical climes, Durban is South Africa's third biggest city.

Day 9:
Today we'll be exploring the exotic Drakensberg Region. The Drakensberg Mountains of South Africa or uKhahlamba (the Barrier of Spears) are a 200-kilometre-long mountainous wonderland and World Heritage Site. The largest proportion of the South African component of this area falls in the kingdom of KwaZulu-Natal. We travel via the stunning Oliviershoek Pass, past the Sterkfontein Dam which boasts one of the biggest earth dam walls. Tonight we stay in the Golden Gate Highlands National Park.

Day 10:
Today forms the last leg of our journey and will therefore end in Egoli, which literally translates to 'place of gold'. Your hotel is conveniently close to O R Tambo International Airport. We will gladly provide interested parties with travel tips, hints or even a further tour programme of local sites on request.
You can add on our Mpumalanga tour taking in the Kruger National Park as well or even consider our Around the Delta tour which visits Botswana, Namibia and Victoria Falls.
