Types of Jumps Available
Standard Bungee Jump
The standard bungee jump is the most popular jump. For this jump, the cord is attached to your ankles via a self-loading knot and a full-body harness attaches you to the cord as well.
Star Elevator
The cord is attached to you via a full-body harness from your chest area. You will be jumping backward for this one so the next step is to walk to the edge of the platform, hang your heels over the edge and take the plunge.
Shooting Star
This jump has the same set-up as the Sat Elevator jump. However, you will approach the edge of the platform at a sprint; flip over onto your back and into a fantastic swing. Certainly not for the faint of heart.
Back Dive
For this jump the chord is attached as per standard jump, to your ankles. However, instead of jumping forward, you are going to jump backwards, flip over and take a head-first plunge. This is an adrenaline rush you are not likely to forget anytime too soon.
Tandem Bungee Jump
This one is great if you want a partner to go with you. 2 people are harnessed together, side-by-side. The cord is attached to both of you by your ankles and you will both jump together. As they say, sharing is caring, or maybe you just don�t have the heart to go through with it alone, either way it is a great experience for both of you.
Bridge Swing
This is less of a bungee and more of a swing, but fun all the same. Here all you have to do is take a step off the bridge and enjoy the ride as you swing back and forth. The bungee swing is made using two 65-meter static line climbing cable ropes that are attached to a load cable. For comfort and a smooth ride a 1 meter bungee cable is also used.
Bridge Slide
The longest cable slide, also known to South Africans as a "foofie" slide, can be found at Victoria Falls. For the best ride of your life, you start on the Zambian bank of the gorge and enjoy and adrenalin rush ride to the other side of the Victoria Falls.
Remember
- During the rainy season of November to February bungee jumping at Victoria Falls may be interrupted by rain
- Transfers to and from the bridge are not included
- Bring your passport
