What do we need to bring?
- Camera and batteries
- Sun block [ important to have SPF 15 min]
- Sunhat or beanie
- Jeans or other sturdy trousers
- Tee shirt
- Windbreaker, sweater and jacket
- Boat shoes

Time:
Full day trips usually depart between 7 and 8am and we return at about 4pm. This is very flexible through to meet any special time constraints guests may have.

Extreme Fly Fishing - Yellow fin Tuna on fly
- Family and friends are welcome to join you on your deep see adventure, but only two anglers maximum will be allowed the chance to land a yellow fin Tuna on fly on any given day.
- Important is to note that if you want to do yellow fin tuna on fly rod, you have to book the boat for yourself and maximum one other angler.
Tuna Spear fishing
For spear fishing adventures, charters are only for competent spear fishers. For this reason, we do not supply wetsuits or fishing gear for spear fishing; each must supply own gear.
Pelagic Birding
Pelagic birds are drawn irresistibly to trawlers and fishing boats because they can find scraps easily. This means that there are great bird watching opportunities as the birds gather in their thousands.
All pelagic bird watching adventure trips depart from Simons Town on licenced boats. Our sport fisherman boat is licensed and capable of cruising at 28 knots.
Safety is top priority and all safety standards are complied with.
A professional videographer is available on request if you wish to capture your bird watching experience on a DVD to keep as a souvenir.
