In a nutshell: abseiling is the manner of making a controlled descent down a length of rope. That said, abseiling is far more than that. It is a skill that has been used by climbers for centuries and Special Forces personnel and fire fighters are all skilled in abseiling.
Abseiling is the greatest fun ever as you are gently lowered over theside of a sheer cliff and experience the rush of adrenaline. The great thing about abseiling is that you do not have to be a highly skilled professional to have a huge amount of fun. Okay, you should have a good head for heights, but your abseiling instructor/guide will be with you every step of the way.
You are clipped into a harness, you have a safety helmet on and you wear gloves, plus you are at all times firmly attached to a strong climbing rope that is under the control of well trained guides. Soon your confidence will grow and you will be going downthe rock faces like a pro. So come and hone your skills as Kamala Game Reserve and have the most fun ever.
